Supervision of arrested care<\/h1>\n
All individuals in custody are at all times entitled to:<\/p>\n
- \n
- adequate shelter and safe surroundings<\/li>\n
- sufficient clean drinking water<\/li>\n
- sufficient food<\/li>\n
- access to sanitation<\/li>\n
- access to legal counseling<\/li>\n
- access to medical care<\/li>\n
- protection from physical and mental abuse<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The Commission that supervises the arrested care \u2013 CTA CW \u2013 ensures that the arrested is treated right.<\/p>\n
Anyone who feels that he is not (or has not been) treated properly during the arrest, transport or confinement can file a complaint.<\/p>\n
To this end, the CTA CW has established a complaints procedure. The commission will investigate the complaint and if it has been found justified, the Minister of Justice will be advised on measures to prevent reoccurrence.<\/p>\n
